Day 2: Farmer's Perspective
A Walk in the 'hood
Out for an evening stroll.
In the evening, after dinner, Mike and I decided to stroll around the neighborhood. We both felt like we'd seen a weeks worth of wonderful sight in just one day, but we still weren't quite ready for the day to end! On the farm, night time is quiet and dark. Here, there were people and lights and music! Hand in had we wandered up and down the streets, soaking up the experience. And then we turned a corner and there it was. The Eiffel Tower. You don't see THAT at home.
Macarons
Once we discovered these wonderful little pieces of heaven, we managed to find a way to fit them into each day's itinerary. My favorite flavor was pistachio, Mike liked the chocolate ones. I have looked and looked, but I just can't find THAT at home.
